Whether you like her or not, Bethenny Frankel is undeniably here to stay in the industry. She may have left The Real Housewives of New York after Season 11, but Bethenny has staying power in her own right. She’s always looking for new opportunities. Recently, Bethenny walked in the L’Oreal Paris Fashion Show. And the former RHONY star is also putting herself out there in her personal life. The single entrepreneur is actively dating. And she’s loving it.
Bethenny Frankel is in her “yes” era of dating
Bethenny explained to Entertainment Tonight why she’s enjoying dating at this era of her life.
The interviewer approached the influencer with a comment about her being a “staple on the New York social scene.” Bethenny responded, “I’m in my social era. I’m in my adventure era.”
She added, “I’m happy, so I’m a little more alive. I’m a little more adventurous. I’m a little more yes.”
Earlier this year, Bethenny broke off her engagement with Paul Bernon. The duo had dated for six years. He moved on in a very public way with Aurora Culpo before breaking things off, supposedly to protect his privacy.
“How’s the dating scene treating you these days?” the interviewer asked Bethenny.
“The dating scene has been pretty good. Who knew I still had it? Late entry,” the RHONY alum joked.
In all honesty though, Bethenny said dating is better because people in her age group, “know exactly what we want.”
“It’s different than when you’re younger and you just don’t think about all the responsibilities of life. And you also haven’t had the instiutional knowledge of relationships,” she explained.
The Skinnygirl founder was then asked what she is looking for in a potential new relationship.
Bethenny answered, “A partner. An energy match. Fun. Someone who’s alive. We don’t want our light dimmed. You know, you want to elevate. Play tennis with a better tennis player.” Last month, the reality TV star was spotted holding hands with Tom Villante. Could there be a future there? Time will tell…
