Bethenny Frankel and her fiancé, Paul Bernon, reportedly have ended their relationship after nearly six years together.
“It just wasn’t going to work,” a mutual friend of the former couple told Us Weekly in an article published Monday, adding that the pair broke up about two months ago.
“They are so different — he’s an under-the-radar kind of guy,” the insider said, noting that Frankel, whose mom recently died, is still in possession of her engagement ring.

The “Real Housewives of New York City” alum, 53, and Bernon have sparked breakup speculation for weeks now after eagle-eyed fans noticed her not wearing her engagement ring in several social media videos.
Frankel and Bernon met on a dating app in September 2018 and swiftly fell for each other.
The film producer proposed to the Skinnygirl founder in February 2021, shortly after she finalized her divorce from Jason Hoppy, with whom she shares 13-year-old daughter Bryn.
However, news of their engagement didn’t surface until a month later when she was spotted wearing a large ring on her left hand.
He proposed to Frankel with a massive 10-carat emerald-cut diamond ring estimated to be worth $1 million.
Frankel would often post photos with Bernon and her daughter Bryn spending time together.

“The intimate details of the story are private but it was a beautiful proposal, in a beautiful setting, with a beautiful ring, to a beautiful man,” Frankel said of their engagement in an Instagram post last June.
While recalling Bernon getting down on one knee, Frankel proudly flaunted the massive sparkler on social media despite being called out for her flashy behavior.
Frankel would often post PDA-filled photos with Bernon on social media throughout their relationship and had expressed her strong emotions for him several times.
Frankel last posted a photo with Bernon in March.

However, she hasn’t posted a photo on Instagram with Bernon since March when he and her daughter joined the former Bravolebrity on a getaway to Canada.
In January, she shared some loved-up photos with Bernon on social media, writing, “This year I’ve committed to working less. I’m focusing on things I can control, being more present with my family and loving every second of this season.”
Reps for Frankel did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
