Bethenny Frankel isn’t shy about sharing her feelings for Bravo and specifically the Real Housewives of New York. Suffice it to say, Bethenny isn’t loving the RHONY reboot. In fact, she went so far as to call it a “piece of trash.”

However, to be clear, she hasn’t seen the show herself (or so she says). She is sharing the criticisms shared with her by friends and videos of people who have watched the show online. So, just to be clear, she herself hasn’t watched it. But she had no problems sharing the opinions of those who have watched.
Bethenny Frankel wants the OGs back
In a video that she has since deleted from TikTok (but has been reuploaded by other users – since nothing is ever really deleted online), the SkinnyGirl founder had some shade she needed to throw.
“I have seen enough videos of people saying Real Housewives is unwatchable, it is the Titanic, it is a disaster, 30 people in the country have watched it,” she shared rapid-fire style.
She then added, “So this is going to be a hot take and surprising but justice for Sonja (Morgan), Dorinda (Medley), Luann (de Lesseps), and Ramona (Singer) because they were ride or die.”
Bethenny shared that the OG ladies carried that show on their backs and then were all of a sudden replaced by shiny new toys. She compared them to Andy’s discarded toys in the cartoon franchise Toy Story and said they were tossed aside in the same way.
Bethenny even went further and said that she knew for certain a lot more money was spent on the new cast and show while the former stars were just tossed aside. This isn’t the first time Bethenny has shared her opinion on RHONY. And it’s clear she isn’t a fan of the show’s new direction.
“The new girls, I’m sure they’re lovely,” she adds about the current RHONY cast. “I haven’t seen the show but I’m sure they’re lovely. But the former cast just got dropped off the side of the road.” And finished by saying, Bravo’s only got “200,000 people watching this (new) piece of trash.”
Bethenny is still holding back
Her suggestion to Bravo was to “get the old girls, dust them off, and mix them in because humble pie is coming in hot.”
Then, despite getting several commenters agreeing with her, Bethenny ended up deleting that original video. She posted another with the backing audio that said, “I am not as mean as I would like to be. And I really wish people appreciated that more.”
In the caption, she once again asked for justice for Romona, Luann, Sonja, and Dorinda who she wrote were left for dead in the network’s reboot which she cited as a failed attempt to upgrade to first class.
Unfortunately, this video was also deleted soon after.
Season 15 of Real Housewives of New York continues on Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
