Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden has opened up on her jaw-dropping TV outfits, which have caused a stir over the years - with some ITV viewers flocking to Ofcom to complain

Amanda Holden has confidently declared "I'm never worried" regarding the potential for her television ensembles to stir up complaints.
In a recent interview coinciding with the launch of the new series of Britain's Got Talent, the show's long-standing judge Amanda addresed her wardrobe choices for the latest episodes of the hit ITV programme.
Since becoming a judge on Britain's Got Talent in its inception year of 2007, Amanda has become known for her bold fashion statements on the panel, which have led to a flurry of Ofcom complaints, including a staggering 633 in the year 2017 alone.
Despite this, the 54-year-old star says she remains unfazed as she steps out from her dressing room. When quizzed about her top outfit pick for the current series, she responded with what she termed a "boring answer".

Speaking to Closer magazine, Amanda expressed: "I know it's a boring answer, but I love all the outfits from every season of BGT because it's a collaboration with my stylist. Some dresses never make the final cut!"
She added: "So, what you see on TV, I really love. I'm always asked about the Ofcom complaints, but every outfit on the show is checked before I leave my dressing room, so I'm never worried. I think people should have fun with fashion!".
The offending outfit in 2017 was a sheer black Julien Macdonald dress. The 633 complaints not only made it Amanda's most controversial look on the show, but it went on to become the TV moment that had sparked the highest amount of complaints that year.
It wouldn't be the only dress that led to Amanda generating hundreds of Ofcom complaints; however, in 2020, she landed 235 for a specific choice. It was for a low-cut navy blue gown that, according to viewers, meant they could "see her nipples".

That same year, she caused further uproar with a Suzanne Neville black and burgundy number featuring a corset and thigh-high split, which led to 136 complaints, contributing to a total of 896 for the episode.
In other news, Amanda recently shared on Heart Radio that her family grumbles about snapping photos of her in bikinis, something she frequently shares on Instagram.
While discussing the concept of "friendship marriages" trending in China, Amanda joked about marrying her colleague, Ashley Roberts from The Pussycat Dolls.
She quipped that Ashley would be the perfect holiday partner and photographer, saying: "I think let's get married, because we'd holiday all the time, we'd be really good at taking each other's bikini shots and no one would moan, like in my family, everyone just moans when I do that."
She added: "Aperol spritz from 12 o'clock onwards, you love my pets, you love my kids."
