Big Brother fans spotted a familiar face on the 1% Club last night (25th May) but with a slightly different name.

Yinrun Huang put her knowledge to the test on the popular ITV show, but fans were confused after she was given the nickname Runrun- making some people question whether it was really her.

Taking to social media to clear up the confusion, Yinrun wrote in an Instagram post: “I’m on the 1% Club Tonight!! 🥳 🧠

“This was filmed at the start of 2023 so I’ve had to keep my participation a secret for so long! But it’s finally here and I can’t wait to watch it back!! (This is one of my favourite series) 🤩

“Thanks to the show for having me as a player, I had the best time and lots of laughs, plus Lee Mack is so charming. 🙊

“Please tune in on ITV1 at 20:55 pm to watch the episode, and see how powerful my brain really is!! 🧠 😏 Can you get the 1% question? Good luck 👏”

She added at the end: “P.S Just in case anyone is confused, I was given the name ‘Runrun’ on the show, but it’s still me, I don’t have a twin. 🤭”

It’s not clear why Yinrun’s name was changed, but many fans defended the star in the comments under the Instagram post.

One person said: “Totally not okay they changed your name because it’s “easier to pronounce” Yinrun is very easy to say, and even if it wasn’t, it still needs to be learnt and said! Yinrun is a beautiful name!”

Another commented: “Sad that a major production can't pronounce your name.”

While a third said: “There is nothing hard to pronounce about your name 🖤”
