The Buffalo Bills got a massive update from their upcoming opposing quarterback, Aaron Rodgers.
The Buffalo Bills will look to stay undefeated against divisional opponents in 2024 when they face the New York Jets on Sunday.
Although the Jets are far out of playoff contention and technically don't have anything to play for, they still have plenty of threats on both sides of the ball that the Bills can't underestimate.
One of those players is future Hall-of-Famer Aaron Rodgers, who may even be playing to earn New York's starting job in 2025.
Rodgers did show up on the injury report at the start of the week with a knee injury, but he claims that he'll be out there on Sunday.
"Yeah, I'm gonna play, and it feels pretty good," said Rodgers. "Basically, there is no way I'm not playing. It's important, especially [since] we've been out of the playoffs for a few weeks now. So that's one of the final goals is to play all 17."
Jets interim coach Jeff Ulbrich also confirmed that he expects to see Rodgers out there.
"The guy's played through - he does whatever it takes to get on the field on Sunday," said Ulbrich. "I'd anticipate him trying to do the same thing this week."
The first time that the Bills played Rodgers and the Jets this season was in Week 6 on "Monday Night Football." Rodgers finished that match-up with 294 passing yards, two touchdowns and one interception.
One player who Buffalo will face for the first time in this season series is All-Pro receiver Davante Adams, who has begun to develop chemistry with Rodgers in recent weeks.
