Last season, the Buffalo Bills were three points away from a Super Bowl appearance, and this offseason, the roster has been improved.

Josh Palmer, Joey Bosa, Larry Ogunjobi, Michael Hoecht, and Darrick Forrest were the big-name free agents signed, plus the Bills re-signed a host of key players to keep the core group together.

So, Buffalo was nearly a Super Bowl team last season, and it has upgraded its roster on both sides of the ball, and we haven't gotten to the draft yet.

As such, when analysing the Bills' offseason plans, Pro Football Network has given them a B grade, while also painting them as one of the Super Bowl favorites.

Extensions were the theme of the offseason for Buffalo, which also struck long-term deals with Christian Benford, Gregory Rousseau, and Terrel Bernard," PFN writes. "Otherwise, the Bills were able to find nice value on a one-year deal for Joey Bosa, who helps replace Von Miller. His fellow former Chargers teammate Joshua Palmer will add some competition to the receiver room after Mack Hollins’ departure. The Bills don’t have the budget to do anything flashy, but that’s not necessary for a team that still looks like one of the Super Bowl favorites."

The Bills are nearly certain to make the postseason, given their division with the New York Jets, New England Patriots, and Miami Dolphins, which are all seen as less than right now.

Considering the Bills haven't gotten weaker this offseason, which usually happens to teams in free agency, Sean McDermott's team's improvement should sound the alarm bells for the rest of the NFL.

Of course, the Bills look good on paper, but once real bullets are flying, we will get a true test of where they sit in the Super Bowl pecking order.

But one thing is for certain - the Bills will be up to their eyeballs in the Super Bowl conversation in 2025.
