Bills Make Official Announcement About Josh Allen's Teammate

The Buffalo Bills are heading into a critical offseason, looking to revamp the roster after another disappointing playoff ending.

Buffalo finished the season with a 15-5 record, losing to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship, marking their fourth straight loss to the Patrick Mahomes-led franchise in a playoff setting.

Aside from the loss, they defeated the Denver Broncos and the Baltimore Ravens in the earlier rounds of the postseason.

As the Bills look to get back to the title game and seek revenge, they agreed to extend one of their most explosive offensive weapons.

Buffalo signed a contract extension with wide receiver Khalil Shakir and officially announced the news on Monday.

"Pen to paper," the Bills captioned the post.

Shakir signed a four-year, $60.2 million contract extension with the Bills.

Last season, Shakir posted four touchdowns and 821 yards on 76 receptions.

Shakir has been with the Bills since the 2022 season, originally being drafted in the fifth round of the 2022 NFL Draft. Throughout his three-year career in Buffalo, Shakir has recorded seven touchdowns, 1,593 yards and 125 receptions.

Shakir will now be continuing his career with quarterback Josh Allen, who was awarded the NFL MVP last season.

While leading the Bills' offense, Allen posted 28 touchdowns and 3,731 yards with a 63.6 completion percentage.
