Bo Nix finished as a top-ten fantasy quarterback in 2024 as a rookie, and now the Denver Broncos are looking to build around him for 2025. Bo Nix has an encouraging dynasty outlook entering this season and beyond.
Dynasty Outlook for Bo Nix
Current Production
Nix had an excellent, underrated rookie season in fantasy, finishing as the QB7 in total fantasy points from Weeks 1-18 and the QB9 from Weeks 1-17. Either way, he was a top-ten fantasy quarterback. Jayden Daniels was the only rookie quarterback to finish higher than Nix. He was the sixth quarterback drafted in the 2024 NFL Draft, but he finished higher than four of the five drafted before him.
Nix also ended the year on a hot streak, throwing for at least two touchdowns in seven of the last eight games. Nix had plenty of production rushing the football, having seven games with at least 30 rushing yards. He had six weeks as a top-ten fantasy quarterback and only three weeks outside of the top 20, and two of those weeks came in the first three games of the season. Starting in Week 5, Nix only had two finishes outside the top 15. He was a very consistent low-end QB1 to high-end QB2.
Nix Dynasty Price
According to KeepTradeCut, a website that crowdsources dynasty values from players who use the site, Nix is the QB11 in dynasty leagues. He is behind fellow second-year quarterbacks Caleb Williams and Drake Maye. He is also just behind C.J. Stroud and ahead of Jordan Love, Kyler Murray, and J.J. McCarthy. This is too low of a ranking for Nix. He should be ahead of Stroud, who has zero rushing upside. He finished better than both Williams and Maye last season, so he could easily be ranked ahead of them. Nix is worth 1.02 in 2025 Rookie Superflex Drafts and a late first-round pick in non-Superflex leagues.
Bo Nix Dynasty Outlook
Behind Courtland Sutton, there is not much depth in the wide receiver room. Look for the Broncos to try to draft one in the 2025 NFL Draft. However, they did go out and sign a great tight end in Evan Engram, which will provide Nix with a good safety net. Head coach Sean Payton will also look to draft a running back in the early rounds after Javonte Williams signed with the Cowboys. The Broncos want to build around Nix. They will go out and get him the weapons that he needs to make a jump in his second year. With Nix being on a rookie contract, the Broncos will build a strong team around him and draft other rookie players at skill positions. Nix will be able to build strong rapport with his teammates, leading to much success in the next few seasons.
What To Do With Bo Nix in Dynasty Leagues?
Nix had a great rookie year that went under the radar. He should be in another great position to succeed in 2025. Therefore, I am looking to buy him in dynasty leagues. I would rather have Nix than the other quarterbacks in his range, so see if you can flip Nix for them. Nix will not be a superstar top-five fantasy quarterback, but he will provide consistency as a low-end QB1 player for the next few seasons, which is why Bo Nix has a high dynasty outlook.
