Carter’s broken heart could be Daphne Roses’s win.
The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Friday, May 16 saw Steffy on edge, Carter heartbroken, and Liam pushing Hope into another man’s arms.
What Happened Today On Bold and the Beautiful?
Over at the Cliff House, Taylor (Rebecca Budig) and Finn (Tanner Novlan) comforted Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). They agreed she did the right thing by telling Hope, despite her going against Liam’s wishes. The trio discussed what to do next. They agreed to stop spreading the news, but also worried about Liam not getting proper support. Liam is loved by so many who have no idea they’ll soon lose him. It was all too much to bear.
Love Me Not
Meanwhile, Hope was saying and doing all she could to win Liam back. She cried about how much she loves him and always will. Unfortunately, Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) overheard all of that and decided to take his broken heart and retreat. Inside, the conversation continued between the former flames and Hope talked about wanting to cherish her time with him while she has him. Liam, however, wasn’t about all that. He told Hope to chase happiness with Carter.
Hope balked at this suggestion. She didn’t want Liam to worry about her love life outside of him. They then talked about their past once again. Meeting for the first time, the way they felt love at first sight, the whirlwind of their romance, and the suffering they put each other through. Liam then flipped all that to the way she looks with Carter and the way she feels about him. Then, he practically pushed her out the door to go find him and be with him.
A Wicked Little Fallout
Over in the design room, Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire) met her match when Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) walked into the design room to talk about Hope and Carter. She reminded Brooke that the formerly happy couple are going through a difficult time but their love didn’t just disappear. Then, she boldly told Daphne Rose to not get in the way. She called out Daphne Rose kissing the man…right before he walked through the door.
Brooke took her leave and Carter had a mini meltdown about Hope…and of course, Daphne Rose was more than happy to be there for him. She even accompanied him when he left the office to get away from the memories of his ex. They headed to his loft where Carter stewed over what he overheard. He was down in the dumps over Hope not caring for him. Seeing his greif, Daphne Rose took her chance to make yet another move and Carter didn’t back away this time.
