Bold & Beautiful Recap — June 19: Jealousy, Kisses & a Paris Refusal!

Steffy gave Daphne Rose much to think about...

The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Thursday, June 19 saw word spreading about Nick’s return to town and Steffy looked to bring back another familiar face.

Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) came home from the office in a mood and Taylor (Rebecca Budig) sat him down and asked what it was all about. Ridge announced that he caught Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) chatting it up with a man from her past – and Taylor’s past too. She was shocked to hear that man was Nick (Jack Wagner). In true therapist form, she then asked Ridge how seeing Nick with Brooke made him feel.

Ridge tried to claim he simply did not like his half-brother. And, he doesn’t like the idea of Brooke being with the man, but did acknowledge it was his ex’s call, not his. While he didn’t admit to being crazy with jealousy, Taylor saw right through the charade and called him out on it.

Meanwhile, over in the design room, Brooke told Katie (Heather Tom) the news. Her old flame was home. It took Katie mere seconds to put together that Nick’s return coincides with Ridge being a taken man and what that could mean for her sister. A rich captain who wants her and only her? That’s better than a dressmaker with a divided heart, right? Talk about good timing!

The Daphne Rose Factor

Over in the main office, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) informed Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Hope (Annika Noelle) that she was going to invite Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire) back to town. She assured Hope that Daphne would keep her lips to herself, especially now that Hope has that gigantic rock on her finger.

Later, alone in the jewelry showroom, Carter kissed Hope and then asked her if she was okay. Hope tried to be pragmatic about the perfumer’s possible return. She promised she wasn’t insecure about Carter, but she did not trust Daphne Rose. Not at an all. Carter understood her hesitation and the reasons and promised he’d keep Daphne Rose at bay and promised she’d have nothing to worry about. Besides, he wasn’t sure Daphne would even come back at all.

Meanwhile, over in Paris, Daphne Rose took a call from Steffy. She was happy to hear about her fragrances success and that Steffy loves her new sample, too. She was a bit stunned by Steffy’s invite to return to L.A., though. And, she turned down the offer flat. She can’t be there. She can’t think about the freshly engaged Carter, never mind see it all play out with her own eyes. After the call, Daphne sat with her thoughts and reminisced falling for Carter.
