Bold & Beautiful Recap: Li Eviscerates Poppy Over Luna’s Death — Sheila Breaks Down, Bill Blamed for Tragedy (July 11)

Poppy's attitude didn't fly with her sister. Not at all!

The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Wednesday, July 11 saw Dollar Bill suffering with his guilt, Finn delivering bad news, and Li tearing into Poppy like never before.

Li (Naomi Matsuda) reiterated her failed plight to save Luna (Lisa Yamada) and make sure her sister really understood what she was saying. But, much to her shock, Poppy (Romy Park) stood firm in being glad her daughter was dead. She grabbed Poppy (Naomi Matsuda) and dragged her into a private room where she confronted her disgusting behavior. Poppy was not ashamed, though. In fact, she doubled down.

Li lost it. Yes, Luna was troubled but why did Poppy think that was? Just look how she raised the girl! It’s clear Luna turned out the way she did because of Poppy’s sex and drugs lifestyle. If she had been a good mother Luna would have been the sweet, lovable girl she was when she was a child. Poppy’s cruelty told Li all she needed to know.

Meanwhile, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Hope (Annika Noelle) paid a visit to Liam (Scott Clifton) while Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) left Wyatt a voice mail. By the time they all met up in the hall, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) was right there to comfort his daughter. Taylor (Rebeca Budig) soon followed…and later, Dollar Bill (Don Diamont) showed up. Steffy tore into him and blamed him for all things Luna. Poor Bill was wracked with guilt and devastated his son was fighting for his life and it was essentially his fault.

Steffy demanded Bill leave the hospital but he refused. He wasn’t going anywhere until he sees his son. He took all their anger and let Steffy and Ridge have their say, and then he broke down. He’s failed Liam over and over at every turn. Through tears, Bill vowed to stand by his son and help him fight. Steffy had all she could take before she took off to join Hope at Liam’s bedside.

Down the hall, Deacon (Sean Kanan) brought Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) a drink and joked about her toes. What are the odds she’d lose another one? Sheila then told Deacon everything that went down and how she got into this mess. Deacon was upset but understanding and even agreed to find out how Luna is. He didn’t want Sheila around her but she deserved to know and he wasn’t about to crush her hopes that her granddaughter could turn her life around.

He found Finn in Liam’s room and was relieved to see the Spencer heir made it. However, when he asked about Luna, Finn did not have good news. Not at all. He even accompanied Deacon back to Sheila’s room to deliver the devastating news. Despite Li’s best efforts, Luna was gone. Unlike Poppy, Sheila had a breakdown and cried for her fallen granddaughter.
