Brad Marchand threw the puck on net, and a lucky bounce off Morgan Rielly gave the Florida Panthers the overtime win over the Toronto Maple Leafs.

It's their first win in the series after Toronto won the opening two games at home. John Tavares had two goals, Rielly scored and had two pucks bounce off him and into the net, and Joseph Woll stopped 32 of 27 shots against.

Matthew Knies added another goal to his playoff total, the first of the game. He's now up to five goals throughout nine in the playoffs. The Maple Leafs had four power plays and were able to capitalize on one in the second period.

Florida's overtime win solidifies a Game 5 in Toronto. Below is a play-by-play recap of the game.

Overtime

Marchand's shot bounces off Rielly and by Woll for the overtime-winner. We'll have a Game 5 in Toronto.

Nylander gets sprung on a breakaway after a pass by John Tavares, but cannot beat Bobrovsky.

3rd Period

Florida goes to the power play late in the third period after a Pacioretty tripping penalty, but cannot find the back of the net. They'll have 13 seconds left on the man advantage in overtime.

Rielly, shortly after his goal, puts the puck off the crossbar.

With 9:04 remaining in the third period, after Knies works to keep the puck in Florida's zone, Rielly throws a shot at the net, which bounces off Bobrovsky and Jones before going into the net. A lucky bounce ties the game at four.

Tanev goes to the dressing room after this hit from Jonah Gadjovich. He returned eight-and-a-half minutes into the period.

Woll misplays a puck 30 seconds into the third period, and Anton Lundell gets a chance, but cannot bury it on the open net.

2nd Period

Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube makes some changes in the latter half of the second period: McCabe with Benoit, Chris Tanev with Oliver Ekman-Larsson. Berube also throws Marner, Matthews, and Nylander out for a shift before the end of the period.

Steven Lorentz had a chance on a partial two-on-one, which was stopped by Bobrovsky. Nosek then crashed into the net, knocking it off, but it doesn't get called a penalty.

With under five minutes left in the second period, Tomas Nosek enters Toronto's zone and fires a puck on net, which beats Woll and gives Florida their first lead of the game.

Just over a minute later, after Tkachuk gets the puck off the boards, Bennett finds Carter Verhaeghe on the two-on-one, beating Woll to tie the game at three. Marner had attempted to go for a change, but had to rush back to try and break up the play.

Reinhart scores his first goal of the series after the puck rolls across the goal line at 4:13 of the second period. It was initially called no goal on the ice, but after a review, the officials called it a good goal, putting Florida behind by one.

Seventeen seconds after AJ Greer's tripping penalty on Bobby McMann, Tavares scores his second goal of the game. The forward tips Marner's point shot and has five goals in nine games throughout the playoffs.

1st Period

Rielly makes a strong defensive play to break up a pass from Jones that had Marchand's name all over it. That stop likely saved a sure goal from Florida.

Marner gets a shorthanded opportunity after a great pass from Auston Matthews in the Maple Leafs' zone. Seth Jones with a great back check to muffle the scoring chance.

Reinhart fires the puck off the crossbar during Florida's first power play of the game. The Panthers couldn't find the back of the net on the opportunity.

Benoit with another big play, throwing a massive hit on Gustav Forsling. He's been pretty effective early on in Game 3 for Toronto.

Alexsander Barkov finds the back of the net for Florida just under two minutes after the Tavares goal. Barkov takes the puck to the net, and it takes an unfortunate bounce off Morgan Rielly's stick and past Woll to make it 2-1.

John Tavares gets on the board five-and-a-half minutes after Knies' goal. After a pass from Max Pacioretty, Tavares fakes before beating Sergei Bobrovsky on the wraparound.

Simon Benoit makes a strong defensive play to take Eetu Luostarinen off the puck before carrying it out of Toronto's zone himself.

Knies, 23 seconds in, scores his fifth goal of the playoffs. The 22-year-old hopped on a rebound after a Mitch Marner shot, tallying another goal around the net.
