BREAKING: Flyers Extend Qualifying Offers To Bobby Brink And Egor Zamula

The Philadelphia Flyers have extended qualifying offers to forward Bobby Brink and defenseman Egor Zamula, which they have until 5:00 p.m. on July 15 to accept.

Philadelphia Flyers right wing Bobby Brink (10) celebrates his goal against the New York Rangers during the second period at Madison Square Garden.

Brink, who had 11 goals and 12 assists in 57 games this season, experienced a fair amount of adversity in his first full season with the Flyers, including multiple stints with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms in the AHL and dealing with bouts of healthy scratches.

Despite the challenges, Brink maintained truly admirable character, and still had plenty of moments that showed his impressive abilities.

"If you ever meet him, he doesn't lack confidence—that's a compliment!" said Flyers assistant GM Brent Flahr. "He's a great kid, student of the game, loves to ask questions, loves to play the game. He'd be at the rink all day if you let him. He's probably one of the first ones there and last to leave."

Zamula also found himself in more of a limited role on the Flyers' backline this season, falling victim to an ever-changing rotation of defensive pairings as the defense dealt with various trades and injuries that forced constant reshuffling.

No other RFAs appear to have received qualifying offers. The Flyers still have yet to make an official announcement.
