The first semi-final of Britain's Got Talent's 2025 series takes place on Saturday - and the ITV show has now confirmed which acts will be taking part as the live shows kick off

Britain's Got Talent has revealed the eight acts who will be performing in the series' first semi-final this Saturday - including one particular act who received hundreds of Ofcom complaints for his audition. Auzzy Blood proved to be a divisive BGT auditionee when he made his show debut back in February, with many viewers describing his body horror act as "disgusting".
The controversial routine - which saw Auzzy place a silver meat hook through his nose and swallow swords - received over 771 Ofcom complaints. Auzzy will be performing on Saturday night alongside seven other semi-finalists before the public vote for who they want to see in the final.

Dino rock band Heavysaurus will be taking to the stage once again, as will magician Teddy Magic and singer Vinnie McKee. Meanwhile, dance group The Blackouts, variety act Akira, singer Linda Mudzenda and magician Eden Choi will also be performing.
In a show first, the semi-finalists will also get the chance to receive a Golden Buzzer during the live show, with either one of the judges or Ant and Dec being given the power to send someone straight through to the final.
Richard Arnold announced the change on Good Morning Britain earlier this month, revealing: "For the first time in BGT history, the buzzer will now appear during the live rounds. It has already been pressed eight times this series."
While ITV added: "In each semi-final, either one of the judges or Ant and Dec will be given control of the golden buzzer, and as soon as they see a performance worthy of a place in the final, they will have just one opportunity to press it."
It's not the only big change for this year's competition, with the semi-finals being spread across five weekends instead of airing nightly across a week.
Earlier this month, ITV announced that the semi-finals will be airing every Saturday across five weekends. "Britain’s Got Talent will be more entertaining than ever before, not only with the addition of the Golden Buzzer for the live shows, but the semi-finals will now air live every Saturday night, claiming the weekends as the home of BGT. Be prepared for unpredictable, unmissable and unbeatable event television," the channel said.
This means that the final will now take place on Saturday 31 May - much later in the series.
Britain's Got Talent airs on Saturday at 7pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
