Britain's Got Talent fans shocked over appearance of child stars who lost to Spellbound

TikTok fans are just learning that social media stars were once a child act on Britain's Got Talent over a decade ago.

Britain's Got Talent has been responsible for the fame of a number of well known faces, including the likes of Susan Boyle and Ashley Banjo's dance group Diversity.

One duo that fans may still remember to this day due to their extensive work on TikTok, is Twist and Pulse, street dancers Ashley Glazebrook-Durbridge and Glen Murphy.

In 2010, the pair took to the stage, impressing the judges with their electric moves and skills, despite their fame, they didn't end up winning the competition, they lost out to the gymnastic troupe Spellbound.

Fast forward some years later, Simon Cowell had an idea to create a brand new spin off show - Britain's Got Talent: The Champions in 2019, crowning one past finalist the overall winner.

Little did Twist and Pulse know that this would be their moment to shine, with the dancing duo wowing once again and this time walking away with the champions crown.

Their legacy lives on today, with the dancing pair rising to fame once more on the platform TikTok, inspiring their followers with mesmerising and easy-to-grasp routines on the site.

Despite their huge win in 2019, the duo only formed their online presence in 2020, with many of their fans not realising they had been famous before TikTok stardom.

In a recent post, fans shared their shock after learning the duo had once been on the ITV talent scout programme 15 years ago, with many declaring the duo "didn't look old enough" to have been stars that long ago.
