Britain's Got Talent judge Simon Cowell has opened up about the time he thought he'd died on the ITV show.
The talent show icon said his life flashed before his eyes during an audition on tonight's episode (Saturday, March 8).
He was asked on stage by contestant Kranthi Kumar Panikera, who went on to smash watermelons with a sledgehammer inches from his head.
The stunt got even scarier when the music mogul was seen moving about, prompting fellow judges Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden to call for the act to stop.

Talking with The Mirror, Britain's Got Talent judge Simon Cowell said: "I genuinely thought my days were numbered.
"The producers on this show just love my pain! There was one point, and I'm not lying, I genuinely thought, ‘That’s it. It's over’.
"A guy nearly smashed my head in with a sledgehammer. He was slipping all over the place and sweating so much."
"That’s what freaked me out because when I got up close, I thought, ‘My god, his adrenaline's on such a high, I shouldn't be doing this’."
The 65-year-old ITV star went on to add that his co-judges were not happy about the stunt either.
He said: "When I looked at them, they were really worried.
"I don't want to push my luck, I did say at one point that I think I'm running out of lives here.”
Britain's Got Talent will continue tonight (Saturday, March 8) and see Bruno Tonioli, Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden and Simon Cowell witness the 'best' the UK and Ireland has to offer.
