Susan Boyle has confirmed "she is back".

The Britain's Got Talent legend has dropped a bombshell hint about her epic comeback after she vanished from the spotlight for a while grappling with the aftermath of a health scare, but now she's buzzing to let fans know she's on the up.

Last year Susan revealed that she'd suffered a stroke in April 2022, forcing her to hit pause on her career and "fight" her way back to wellness. In a video posted across her social media platforms, Susan is seen chatting directly to her followers while dolled up to the nines, with a glam squad seemingly gearing her up for a mystery gig.

She declared: "Hi, I'm Susan Boyle. Follow my journey here on TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram. I'm back! Definitely back. And I can't wait to do more for you."

Susan, who famously skipped out on an X Factor try-out before storming BGT, wrote: "Today's a special day - it's my birthday! But I've got something exciting to share... I'm back and working on some wonderful new projects that I can't wait for you to hear about!" reports the Mirror.

Boyle has hinted that she'll be making a comeback at some point in 2025. The singing sensation, who celebrated her 64th birthday on 1 April, also posted a message to her devoted fans on Facebook: "More news will be coming very soon, but I just wanted to say how much I've missed you all."

"Your support means the world to me and I'm more determined and excited than ever. Love, Susan x."

The comments section erupted with excitement as fans extended their warmest wishes and expressed how thrilled they were to see Susan returning to her passion.

One fan sent birthday greetings and expressed their eagerness to hear Susan's new music, praising her beautiful voice.

Another fan poured praise on the talented singer, writing: "Happy Birthday, Susan! I hope you are surrounded by wonderful friends who are celebrating the special person you are. I'm very excited for your new projects - you are a bright light in a darkened world."

Late in 2024, Susan mentioned her plans for re-entering the entertainment industry, which involved working in television alongside her music.

During an appearance on STV's What's on Scotland, Susan discussed her three-year hiatus, saying: "It's taken me three years and it's been hard - I'm not going to pretend otherwise but it's made me determined to keep going."
