Britain's Got Talent has been running for 18 series, and in that time we've seen some impressive child performers. From Connie Talbot who wowed audiences with her performance of Somewhere Over the Rainbow from the Wizard of Oz in 2007, to George Sampson's incredible breakdance to Rock This Party in 2008.
One of the talented children who stood out from the crowd was Natalie Okri, who was just 10-years-old when she competed on the show in 2009. Her rendition of Alicia Keys' No One blew away the judges and she was awarded with a standing ovation from the audience.16 years later, her performance is now one of the most viewed BGT auditions ever on YouTube, with 130 million views and 556k likes. In an interview with 'Cene, she said that it was actually a previous BGT singer who inspired her to apply in the first place.
She said: "It was seeing Connie Talbot on Britain’s Got Talent when I was nine-years-old that inspired me. And I was like, ‘Wow, I want to do that’. I applied and my mum took me all the way to Manchester to audition."
Despite making the semi-finals of the third series, she was eliminated after performing Jamelia's hit Superstar.
Her heat of the semi finals was won by Susan Boyle and Diversity, with the dance group ultimately winning the series that year with Susan Boyle as the runner up.
In 2010, Natalie signed to Simon Cowell's record label, Syco Entertainment, but later left in 2012 as it was distracting her from her education.
She said: "I was signed to Syco and my days were kind of weird and different because I spent a lot of time doing rehearsals, going into the studio, doing interviews and doing performances. And it was kind of taking me away from my studies.
"My mum was very concerned and my dad, who is a barrister, got the contract cancelled.
"I went back into full-time education and I was focusing on school. I then decided to study music.
"When I was 16, I released my first-ever song and started again. I started taking it more seriously in my third year of university when I was about 19, releasing regularly from there."
Now 26-years-old she is still performing and making music, in fact she is a full-time singer and released a new music video for her song Blessings earlier this year in February.
She describes herself as a "singer, songwriter and performer bridging the gap between Christ and the world".
She recently released a new single Hot, on Sunday, April 6, and has been performing in London to promote her new song.
She later shared a post on social media after her performance saying: "Firstly I just want to thank God for a spirit filled day! Hot & Holy night was a success with many people blessed and good vibes only!"
She said that making music now is very different to when she was younger.
She said: "Back then, it wasn’t really about social media. No one really had social media, it was about talent and passion.
