Britain's Got Talent takes emotional turn as magic trick ends in mind-blowing proposal

Britain's Got Talent viewers were left utterly speechless as magician Harry Moulding left Simon Cowell and his fellow judges speechless with an incredible magic trick

The last semi-final of Britain's Got Talent 2025 concluded with a spellbinding moment as magician Harry Moulding facilitated a proposal during his act.

The competition is set to declare its 18th champion in a week, yet it was Harry's performance that truly captivated the audience.Simon Cowell was so taken by 24 year old Harry's performance that he issued a stark warning to the other finalists. "Everyone else should be worried," declared the entertainment tycoon, clearly astonished by Harry's skills.

Harry's act involved a series of astounding predictions, including accurately naming random audience members after judges Bruno Tonioli, Alesha Dixon, and Amanda Holden selected seat numbers haphazardly. But the most shocking part of his act was reserved for an audience member named Jess.

When Amanda chose seat number S-15 from Harry's notepad, the remarkably skilled magician engaged with Jess, who was seated there. After guessing her name, Harry informed Jess of an even bigger surprise awaiting her.

He invited Jess to choose a destination from his notepad, following two other audience members' random selections of a celebrity - Bruno Mars - and a number, which was 178. Jess randomly flicked through the notepad, eventually settling on Paris as her chosen location, reports the Mirror.

Harry took Jess by the hand and guided her to the stage where he instructed her to press a button on a remote. This action triggered a pre-recorded clip, filmed 48 hours prior, to play on the screen.

During this segment, Harry left the audience in awe as he accurately named the celebrity that an audience member had selected - Bruno Mars. He then presented a photograph of Bruno, flipping it over to reveal the number 178 on a blank page - a number chosen by another audience member just moments earlier.

The spectacle took a mysterious twist when Harry revealed his location during the recording of the segment. As he moved away from the camera, it became apparent that he was filming directly from Paris, with the Eiffel Tower in the background - the exact location Jess had picked from his notepad.

As if that wasn't enough magic for one evening, Harry then approached a passer-by to ask them about their hypothetical wedding guest list. The stranger, who also happened to be named Harry, responded that if he were to get married, he would likely invite 178 guests to his wedding.

Upon being asked about his first dance choice, magician Harry revealed his admiration for Bruno Mars, hinting that it would probably be a hit from the famous artist. The camera then swung to Jess, who gazed in utter bewilderment before realising that the person Harry was addressing was actually her boyfriend.

Following this revelation, Harry inquired of Jess's boyfriend the location he'd choose for his wedding, prompting the response: "Here, in Paris."

Astonishment swept through the audience as Harry subsequently joined Jess on stage, knelt, and proposed amid the stunned judges and spectators, with Jess covering her face in amazement.

"OMG! This is truly crazy. Harry needs to win BGT," concurred another viewer. "WHAT THE HELL! Honestly the best BGT contestant there has ever been. My mind is so frazzled as to how he's managed all of this," a different fan said.

The judges were evidently blown away as well, with KSI promptly hitting the golden buzzer as soon as hosts Ant and Dec sought their opinions on Harry's performance. Overwhelmed, Harry collapsed to the floor in shock - it appears he could be a strong contender for the 2025 series of BGT.
