Britain's Got Talent 2025 winner Harry Moulding has spoken out about his connection to King Charles ahead of his Royal Variety Performance later this year

Magician Harry Molding soared to victory on ITV's Britain's Got Talent 2025 after his breathtaking skydive act left audiences in awe, earning him the top spot in a tightly contested final over the weekend.

With masses of viewers casting their votes for Harry, his leap from an aeroplane was enough to secure him the crown in the nail-biting finale.

Chatting with Ranvir Singh on Monday, June 2, on ITV's Lorraine, Harry expressed the excitement he'd experienced since clinching the 2025 title and discussed his upcoming Royal Variety Performance in front of King Charles and other members of the Royal Family.

Ranvir was eager to probe if Harry had already brainstormed a trick for the monarch, which led to the revelation that they shared a remarkable connection through their mutual passion for magic, live on-air.

Harry disclosed that not only were he and King Charles fellows of the magical arts but also members of the prestigious Magic Circle society, reports Belfast Live. Now 24 years old, Harry's enchantment with magic began at the tender age of ten, and by nineteen, he had joined the ranks of the Magic Circle, into which King Charles had been inducted before him.egarding his aspirations for the Royal Variety Performance, Harry confirmed: "King Charles is a member of the Magic Circle, the inner Magic Circle as well, he auditioned performing the oldest trick in magic, the cups and balls so he is actually a magician himself."

Harry elaborated with enthusiastic anticipation: "I'd just love the opportunity to meet him and maybe even involve him in the act, who knows."

The Blackpool magician was quick to express his gratitude to guest judge and rapper KSI who crucially sent him straight to the final by hitting his golden buzzer during the semi-final rounds.

Interrupting the conversation, Harry said to Ranvir: "I had to thank KSI because if he hadn't pressed his golden buzzer last week then who knows."

Over the weekend, it was revealed that Harry had clinched the lion's share of votes among his 10 semi-finalist rivals on Saturday's show, triumphing over gymnast Binita in third place, and The Blackouts who finished as runners-up.

However, Harry's win wasn't universally celebrated as some fans felt runner-up Blackouts were unfairly denied victory.

One disgruntled viewer posted: "Blackouts have been robbed #bgt," while another supported this view stating: "#theblackouts have been robbed, they were in my humble opinion the best act of the night. #BGTFinal #bgt."

Echoing these thoughts, a third fan remarked: "Sorry but The Blackouts were well and truly robbed tonight! ! #TheBlackouts #BGT."

Other comments from unimpressed users included: "The blackouts were INCREDIBLE! ! They should have won! #bgt," and: "Nah sorry but #blackouts and #JasmineRice were robbed, easily the best of the night #BGTFinal."

During an interview with hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly after being announced the 2025 BGT champion, Harry shared his disbelief and appreciation: "I can't believe what is going on, thank you everyone so, so much. I genuinely feel like everyone has been behind me, this has been the most incredible journey, thank you!"

Britain's Got Talent can still be streamed on ITVX.
