In our SB Nation Reacts survey this week, I asked Denver Broncos fans their thoughts on whether or not the team should trade up or trade back if a trade were to happen in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft. Fans overwhelmingly preferred they trade back.

I also voted trade back, but there are exactly three players I would be perfectly happy to see them trade up for: running back Ashton Jeanty and either of the top tight ends in Colston Loveland or Tyler Warren. Trading up for anyone else just wouldn’t appeal to me in the least.
However, if those players are gone and the Broncos are sitting at 20 then a trade back becomes very interesting. The running back position is deep and accumulating picks would just make too much sense — which is why I voted that way in this survey as well. I just don’t think the three guys above will be anywhere near an option to trade up, but you just never know!
According to FanDuel, the Broncos odds of selecting a running back as their first drafted player is pretty strong and above all other position groups. Although wide receiver and defensive line is close behind with oddmakers. Given that fact, I think trading back and getting that running back is the most attractive option for me.
