Broncos missed out on 3 undrafted free agents they wanted to sign

The Denver Broncos have reached agreements to sign 15 undrafted free agents, and a growing list of players are being invited to try out at rookie minicamp next week.

KOA Radio has debunked a rumor that the Broncos wanted to sign Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders if he ended up going undrafted. However, there are credible reports that Denver missed out on three undrafted free agents that they hoped to sign.

Luca Evans of the Denver Post reported that the Broncos made a "really competitive offer" to Florida State cornerback Fentrell Cypress, but he opted to sign with the Washington Commanders instead.

Evans also reported that Denver made an offer to LSU cornerback Zy Alexander, but he ended up landing with the Seattle Seahawks.

Meanwhile, Amir Farrell of Broncos Avenue reported that Denver attempted to sign BYU cornerback Jakob Robinson, but he opted to join the San Francisco 49ers instead.

Clearly, the Broncos were interested in adding more cornerbacks. Our unofficial UDFA tracker has three CBs signing with Denver so far.
