Bronwyn Newport is about to start a "new chapter" in her life and she is not holding back about it. The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast member had been transparent about her relationship with husband, Todd Bradley, in the past, and her parents' health in recent weeks. Now, she is opening up about her future.
Bronwyn took to Instagram earlier this week, where she posted a photo of her wearing a light blue blouse with an oversized bow underneath a colorful, matching tweed set, and explained the significance of the outfit in the caption of the post. "I bought this outfit many many years ago for an important meeting," she wrote. "The night before, I got nervous it didn't portray me right. I'd look too quirky, not serious, too ridiculous...all kinds of negative adjectives. I put it away and until recently forgot about it."
But, Bronwyn is about to embark on something new, and so the outfit came back out. Although she did not reveal what this new chapter will entail, she is marching forward and confidently embracing her quirky sense of style. "At almost my big age of 40, I am trying to start a new chapter," she admitted, noting that this was the "right outfit" for a new "big meeting."
"One where I don't second guess myself out of even beginning... I am trying to do many things differently. They don't have to turn out perfectly, but I have to find the courage to give them my all and accept the outcome," she continued. "Most importantly, I am working to even just begin by showing up confidently as myself...in just ridiculous enough fashion."
Below Deck alum Kate Chastain showed her support for Bronwyn in the comments. "Ummmm this is actually my favorite outfit you've ever worn," she wrote.
Bronwyn Newport shares an "emotional" update on her parents
This declaration of confidence comes on the heels of Bronwyn opening up about her parents' health issues. She took to her Instagram Story on April 20, where she revealed that it had been an "emotional day" for her after visiting her mom and dad, who has Alzheimer's. After their Easter visit "didn't go well," Bronwyn decided to fly to her childhood home in California where she admitted that she needed to start packing up their house.
"We've been slowly transitioning [my mom] to be living with me (and maybe one day back out on her own but close to me) after health challenges, and we needed to come out again, probably for the last time, and clean out the last few rooms," she wrote, over a photo of her daughter, Gwen's room at her parents house.
