The Cleveland Browns need to address their depth at EDGE because they lack a definite complement to Myles Garrett. Ogbonnia Okoronkwo is the second-leading sacker, while Isaiah McGuire is the third-leading sacker among returning EDGE rushers. Also, the Browns have one player under contract through 2027, lacking long-term stability.

Because of this, the front office could select an EDGE rusher either on Day 1 or 2 of the upcoming draft.

Nic Scourton, Detroit Lions, NFL Draft

According to Ryan Fowler, the Browns will host former Texas A&M Aggies EDGE rusher Nic Scourton for a Top-30 visit. Scourton is an intriguing prospect because of his size and athleticism, and he is a top-10 EDGE rusher toward the latter end. Since they may select a QB or Travis Hunter with their No.2 pick, he could be in play at No. 33.

He had a solid college career

After spending the first two years of his college career with the Purdue Boilermakers, Nic Scourton transferred to the Texas A&M Aggies. Scourton had a solid junior year, albeit recording fewer tackles, TFLs, pressures, and sacks, but he still had an impact on their defense. He recorded 37 tackles, 14 TFLs, 36 pressures, five sacks, and one forced fumble in 12 games. He was named First Team All-SEC.
