Browns Add Joe Tryon-Shoyinka as Myles Garrett’s New Pass-Rush Partner
The Cleveland Browns are making moves to bolster their defensive front, signing former Buccaneers edge rusher Joe Tryon-Shoyinka to a one-year, $4.75 million deal, per FOX Sports’ Jordan Schultz.
Tryon-Shoyinka, a former first-round pick (No. 32 overall in 2021), is looking for a fresh start after a slow start to his career in Tampa Bay, where he tallied 15 sacks in four seasons. With Myles Garrett now secured on a massive extension, the Browns are hoping Tryon-Shoyinka can be a valuable complementary piece on the edge.
Myles Garrett’s Change of Heart & Mega Deal
Earlier this offseason, Garrett shocked Browns fans by requesting a trade, citing his desire to win a Super Bowl. However, Cleveland’s front office stepped up, securing him on a four-year, $160 million extension—making him the highest-paid non-QB in the NFL.
🗣️ "Myles had a change of heart and he’s excited to go from Cleveland to Canton and chase a championship in Ohio," his agent, Nicole Lynn, revealed.
