David Pastrnak had the fantastic opportunity to skate with one of the NHL's greatest players.
While we are in the middle of summer and the NHL regular season won't be here for almost three months, Boston Bruins superstar David Pastrnak is already skating. In fact, he just so happened to have the fantastic opportunity to skate with one of the greatest players in NHL history.
Pastrnak was spotted on the ice with NHL legend and former Bruin Jaromir Jagr. In addition to Jagr, Pastrnak also skated with Carolina Hurricanes forward Martin Necas and former NHLer Roman Cervenka.
This must have been an incredible experience for Pastrnak, Necas, and Cervenka, as all three are Czech forwards, and Jagr is the greatest player to play from the country. The trio also took a picture with Jagr, which the 52-year-old posted on his Instagram account.
Pastrnak just missed the opportunity to play with Jagr on the Bruins. Jagr's stint as a rental for the Bruins was during the 2012-13 season, while Pasta's first season in the NHL was in 2014-15. It would have been fun to see these two Czech superstars join forces in Boston, but it's still great that they had the chance to skate together now.
