New Boston Bruins forward Mark Kastelic had a memorable debut with the club on opening night. He notably fought former Bruins forward A.J. Greer in the club's loss to the Florida Panthers.
Now, in the Bruins' latest matchup against the Montreal Canadiens, Kastelic has scored his first goal with the Original Six club. While the 25-year-old forward is more known for his toughness and grit, he demonstrated his offensive skill and great shot.
After receiving a pass from fellow newcomer Nikita Zadorov in the offensive zone, Kastelic beat Canadiens goalie Cayden Primeau with a perfectly placed wrist shot. It also went bar down for good measure.
With this play, it is absolutely apparent that Kastelic can shoot. It will be fun to see if he can use it to hit new offensive levels in 2024-25 from here.
