The Bruins are getting a big boost for their game against Columbus.
The Boston Bruins are getting a big boost for their Monday night (Nov. 18) contest against the Columbus Blue Jackets. Bruins bench boss Jim Montgomery confirmed that defenseman Andrew Peeke will officially be back in the lineup.
Montgomery previously labeled Peeke doubtful for this contest against the Blue Jackets, but this latest development has now changed that.
Peeke has not played since the Bruins' Nov. 5 matchup against the Toronto Maple Leafs. During that game, the right-shot defenseman suffered an upper-body injury after receiving a hit from Maple Leafs winger Max Pacioretty.
Getting Peeke back is certainly good news for the Bruins. He is a solid part of the Bruins' blueline and should provide a bit more stability to their bottom pairing again.
Peeke, 26, has two assists, 18 hits, and a minus-2 rating in 13 games this season with the Bruins.
