Bruins head coach Joe Sacco confirmed this star won't be in the lineup against the Sharks.
The Boston Bruins are back on the ice tomorrow afternoon to face off against the San Jose Sharks. They will aim to bounce back after a deflating shootout loss to the Ottawa Senators on Saturday.
While speaking to reporters, head coach Joe Sacco shared that star defenseman Charlie McAvoy will once again not be in the lineup against the Sharks.
McAvoy, 27, has not played since the Bruins' Jan. 11 contest against the Florida Panthers due to an ongoing injury. The Bruins have undoubtedly missed him, as he is their best defenseman. However, they will now be without him for another contest at least with this latest update from Sacco.
