Bruins Superstar Provides Big Injury Recovery Update

This Boston Bruins superstar provided a notable update regarding his injury recovery.

Last week, Boston Bruins captain Brad Marchand shared that he had three surgeries this offseason. The superstar forward also specified that they were elbow, abdominal, and groin surgeries.

While Marchand had three notable surgeries this summer, it appears that he will not be missing any game action. While speaking to reporters, including the Boston Herald's Steve Conroy, Marchand said that he expects to be good to go close to the start of training camp. In addition, he also noted that he would be shocked if he is not ready for the club's season opener against the Florida Panthers on Oct. 8.

It is certainly good to hear that Marchand expects that he will be ready to play once the Bruins' regular season is here. The 36-year-old forward is still one of the Bruins' best forwards and a major reason for the Original Six club's success.
