Bryce Young, Tetairoa McMillan, Jaycee Horn: The Trio Leading the Panthers’ New Era Under Dave Canales

Charlotte, North Carolina – Head coach Dave Canales has made it crystal clear: he’s no longer searching for answers. In 2025, the Carolina Panthers are building their identity around three cornerstone players — Bryce Young, Tetairoa McMillan, and Jaycee Horn.

“We’re not here to learn anymore,” Canales declared boldly in his latest press conference. “Bryce is the commander. Tetairoa is the spark. Jaycee is the wall. These three will pull this team forward — and we’re not looking back.”

Bryce Young – The Undisputed Leader

After a challenging rookie season, Bryce Young returned to training camp with new fire and fierce determination. Coach Canales has placed complete trust in his young quarterback.
“Bryce is the brain and the heart of this team. Every throw he makes carries precision and the hunger to win,” Canales said.

The offensive system is being built around Young — a clear signal that his era has arrived.

Tetairoa McMillan – The Explosive Weapon at WR

Rookie Tetairoa McMillan wasted no time making waves at training camp. With elite speed and sticky hands, he’s claimed the WR1 role early.
“He’s a problem defenses can’t ignore — and they’ll pay if they try,” Canales emphasized. “One slip, one second of hesitation, and Tetairoa makes you regret it.”

Jaycee Horn – The Relentless Lockdown Corner

On defense, Jaycee Horn continues to embody toughness and grit. As the team’s shutdown corner, he’s not just covering top receivers — he’s changing offensive game plans.
“Jaycee doesn’t just defend — he forces adjustments,” said Canales. “That’s the kind of player you build championship defenses around.”

Canales' Bold Promise: “It’s Time for the Panthers to Rise”

The Carolina Panthers are no longer in rebuild mode. With Young commanding the offense, McMillan stretching the field, and Horn anchoring the defense, Coach Canales believes the team is ready for liftoff.

“We fear no one. We know who we are. And with this trio, winning is no longer a question of if — it’s when,” Canales concluded.

The Panthers are coming. And 2025 might just be the year they break through.
