Following the sharing of an alleged message from Brynn, 37, in which she had seemingly announced she was quitting the Bravo reality series after filming her sophomore season, Brynn took to her Instagram page to set the record straight, revealing she had nothing to do with the fake post.
“My reaction when people ask if the rumor on X is true … That was an AI post! Fake news. I didn’t put out any statements while in St Barths lol,” she wrote on December 19, along with a video in which she fake cried before starting to laugh.
As RHONY fans may have seen, a post surfaced on X earlier this week, claiming to be an exit statement from Brynn.
“After two incredible seasons, I’ve made the difficult decision to step away from The Real Housewives of New York. This journey has been one of the most rewarding, wild, and unforgettable experiences of my life, and I’m so grateful to Bravo, the crew, my castmates, and the fans who’ve supported me along the way,” her supposed message read. “Sometimes you know when it’s time for a new chapter, and for me, that time is now. I’m excited to focus on my personal growth, new opportunities, and maybe even a little less drama (just a little!).”
“To my RHONY girls — thank you for the laughter, the tears, and the memories. I’ll be cheering you on and sending love from the sidelines,” the post continued. “And to everyone who’s followed my journey — stay tuned. You know I’m just getting started.”
Days later, after Brynn corrected the “fake news,” her fans and followers expressed excitement.
“You’re literally the reason why I watch RHONY,” one person declared.
“SCREAMING! Iconic response love,” shared another.
“Thank gosh!!” wrote a third.
Then, after someone else said that Brynn couldn’t leave the show, another person agreed, saying the series would be “boring” without her.
“Nope she can’t leave without her the show is boring and at least she is real about who she is yes she stirs the pot but [that’s] what makes the show interesting,” they noted.
The Real Housewives of New York City season 15 airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
