Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills have one goal and one goal only heading into the 2025 NFL season. They're looking to finally get over the hump and bring a championship home.
Over the last few years, the Bills have been close. Last season, they fell just one win short of reaching the Super Bowl. However, there are a couple of needs left for Buffalo to focus on in order to take the next step.
Bringing in another elite weapon for Allen is one of those needs.
While the Bills opted not to bring in an elite wide receiver in free agency, they will have a chance to do so in the 2025 NFL draft. Buffalo holds the No. 30 overall pick in the first round, which could give them a chance to bring in a key playmaker.
That is exactly what one analyst has predicted for the Bills.
Jeff Kerr of CBS Sports has made a big prediction for Buffalo in his latest mock draft. He has the Bills landing Ohio State wide receiver Emeka Egbuka.
"The Bills need more playmakers for Josh Allen, and find one in Egbuka," he wrote. "Why not land a player from a school that produces a factory of NFL players at the position? Egbuka is NFL ready and could compete for Rookie of the Year honors with Josh Allen throwing to him."
During the 2024 college football season with the Buckeyes, Egbuka played a key role in leading Ohio State to a national championship. He racked up 81 receptions for 1,011 yards and 10 touchdowns.
Standing in at 6-foot-1 and 205 pounds, Egbuka's readiness to play right away would be a key factor in the Bills drafting him. He has also been compared to Detroit Lions star wideout Amon-Ra St. Brown.
Fans won't have to wait much longer to find out what Buffalo chooses to do at No. 30 overall. The 2025 draft is set to begin on April 24.
