To quote Mugatu from "Zoolander": "That Caleb Williams is so hot right now."
The Chicago Bears had their first practice of OTAs, and the Caleb Williams-centric footage warmed the cold cockles of my football-absent heart.

In a few select tweets, the Bears showcased their premier offseason addition by highlighting off-platform throws and targets to fan favorites DJ Moore and Cole Kmet. But don't take my word for it; see for yourself:

Of course, getting worked into a lather about helmet-and-shorts football is ridiculous. However, it's still exciting to see a prospect of Williams' caliber donning the historic "C" on his helmet while throwing dots all over the field.
Also, not for nothing, the ball seems to explode out of Williams' arm. In slow motion, his release is arguably as fast as Justin Fields' when he donned the burnt orange and navy. For a fan base that's been teased before, it's another checkmark in the "this guy might be the real deal" column. In his pass to Gerald Everett (over starting slot corner Kyler Gordon), Williams displayed his out-of-structure improvisation and impressive arm talent.
It's also encouraging to see so many veterans in attendance at these "voluntary" practices. The likes of Jaylon Johnson, Kyler Gordon, DJ Moore, Tremaine Edmunds, and Cole Kmet were all present.
The Bears will have another practice on Thursday, May 23 (this time open to the media), so expect more clips to trickle out of practice as the season inches closer and at a glacial pace.
