Cameran Eubanks is setting the record straight after a Facebook article claimed she was returning to Southern Charm for its upcoming 11th season.

Nearly six years after leaving the Bravo reality show following its sixth season, Cameran, 41, who was part of the original cast, took to her Instagram Story to share a statement with her fans and followers, which confirmed that she would not be a part of the new episodes and blamed artificial intelligence (AI) for the posting of the “false” report.

“Woke up to tons of DM’s about a Facebook article saying that I am coming back to Southern Charm. NOT TRUE. These Facebook articles are written by AI and are not a credible source of information!” Cameran wrote on August 9.

As fans may have seen, a post called Southern Charm Fan Real on Facebook had shared the rumor with its audience, along with a supposed quote from Cameran about “[living] it all over again.”

“BREAKING: The Southern Belle who stole hearts is back on screen — Cameran Eubanks has officially returned to [Southern Charm], stepping once again into the spotlight of Charleston’s high society. From her quick wit and unshakable grace to the candid charm that made her a fan favorite, Cameran returns not just to stir the sweet tea, but to shake up the drama, laughter, and love that define Lowcountry’s most talked-about cast. Charleston hasn’t been this excited in years,” the fake news article stated.

Cameran left the show in 2020 after season six, breaking the news of her exit in a comment to a fan on Instagram.

During her time on the show, Cameran did her best to keep her private life private. In fact, her husband, Jason Wimberly, didn’t make his debut until season six in 2019, and did so in a very limited manner.

Cameran married Jason, an anesthesiologist, in April 2014, and welcomed their first child, Palmer Corrine Wimberly, in November 2017.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight years later, Cameran admitted that becoming a mom meant less time for her career.

“It is so untrue that you can have it all as a mom. You really can’t. You just have to find balance,” Cameran shared. “With real estate, I had to put it on the back burner to take care of Palmer, because I was so crazy about leaving her in the care of anybody else and it’s very hard, it’s very hard to have to make a choice as to what is more important to you.”
