As we reported earlier today, Montreal Canadiens forward Juraj Slafkovsky unfortunately injured his shoulder this morning.
He sustained this injury simply by taking a shot, as you can see in the following images.
As you can also read, according to this doctor and family physician, it appears to be rotator cuff tendinitis for Slafkovsky.
More fear than harm for Juraj Slafkovsky?
" Slafkovsky Injury Update!Probably a Grade 1 Rotator Cuff Tendinitis. Basically, inflammation in his left shoulder from overuse that fits his more physical play this season.
He's travelling with the team and should be good for Saturday. Worst case would be 1 to 2 games missed."

This is certainly reassuring.
In fact, over the past few hours, regarding Juraj Slafkovsky's injury, the Montreal Canadiens announced that he will be traveling with the team to New York.

However, Martin St-Louis was not able to confirm whether Slafkovsky will be in the lineup tomorrow night, so we'll continue to monitor this situation closely for you.
Slafkovsky, only 20 years old, recorded 50 points in 82 games last season, with 34 of those points coming in his last 39 games of the 2023-2024 campaign.
This season, he already has four points in five games, despite what some have called a slightly disappointing start to the season for Slafkovsky.
There's a lot of promise moving forward!
