Candiace Dillard gives birth to first baby with husband Chris Bassett after ‘RHOP’ exit

Candiace Dillard’s darling arrived — a month ago.

The “Real Housewives of Potomac” alum told People on Wednesday that she gave birth to her and husband Chris Bassett’s first baby on Oct. 3.

The couple named their “cute” infant Jett, which translates from Hebrew to excellence and abundance.

Dillard explained, “Naming him took longer than I thought. … But as soon as I read the meaning of his name, I was like, ‘This is it. This is his name.

“Chris and I couldn’t be happier,” she continued. “It’s so cliché to say, but he’s brought such joy to our lives in ways I never would have been able to describe before. It’s pure love!”

Dillard’s April pregnancy announcement came on the heels of her departure from the Bravo reality show.

The former reality star, 37, left the network for a “whirlwind of new opportunities” — but told fans her exit was a “see you later” as opposed to a “goodbye.”

Dillard, who had been a cast member from Seasons 3 to 8, broke her baby news the following month.

The “Drive Back” singer was 13 weeks along at the time and compared her bump to a “food baby” in an “Entertainment Tonight” interview.

Four months later, Dillard and Bassett used blue paint to reveal the sex of their little one on social media.

The couple has been married since August 2018 and celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary this summer.

“Six years is wild and it is literally a ride I would only want to do with you!!!” Dillard gushed via Instagram at the time. “You’re still my favorite person and my safe place and I’m still super grateful for you.

“This next chapter is gonna be magical,” the former pageant queen continued. “Let’s get it I love yewwww!!!!!”

After the pair’s Washington, DC, nuptials, Dillard froze her eggs.

Since her husband has three children from a previous relationship, the “Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip” alum found “comfort” in his experience after they conceived.

As for whether the couple see more kids in their future, they have discussed potentially “using a surrogate for the second one.”

However, Dillard said, “Let me pop one out and see.”
