Canucks defenceman Noah Juulsen announces life-changing news

Vancouver Canucks defenceman Noah Juulsen has announced some exciting life-changing news this past week with his wife, Brooke.

In a post on social media on Wednesday, Noah Juulsen and his wife, Brooke, announced that they will be welcoming a baby girl to the world later in 2024, which will be their first child. The couple's announcement comes just over a year after they got married.

The Surrey, British Columbia native joined the Vancouver Canucks two days before the start of 2021-22 season after being traded to them by the Florida Panthers, along with Juho Lammikko in exchange for Olli Juolevi.

Juulsen, a former first round pick of the Montreal Canadiens, spent the entire season in the NHL in 2023-24 for the first time in his career and set new highs in assists and points. In 54 games, Juulsen had seven points (one goal, six assists), 22 penalty minutes and was a minus-one. He also appeared in two games during the Stanley Cup Playoffs, recording four penalty minutes.

The 27-year-old has one year remaining on his contract with a cap hit of $775,000 and it'll be interesting to see if he's able to crack the Canucks' opening night roster out of training camp in a few months from now.

From everyone here at Canucks Daily, we'd like to send our congratulations to Noah Juulsen and his wife Brooke.
