Big news for the Arizona franchise.
The Arizona Cardinals took a big injury blow when Marvin Harrison Jr. was knocked out of this past Sunday's Week 6 loss to the Green Bay Packers.
Harrison Jr. took a blow to the head in the second quarter and was ruled out for the remainder of the game with a concussion.
But after progressing through the NFL's concussion protocol this week, the rookie wide receiver has been removed from the injury report and will take the field for the Cardinals' matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday.
Harrison Jr. was a full practice participant on Friday, ditching the yellow non-contact jersey as he prepares for his Monday night return in primetime. He was fully removed from the injury report on Saturday.
Harrison Jr., the No. 4 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, has 17 catches for 279 yards and four touchdowns to begin his NFL career with the Cardinals. His best game of the year so far came in Week 2, reeling in four catches for 130 yards and two touchdowns in a win over the Los Angeles Rams.
The Cardinals are 2-4 to start the 2024 NFL season with losses to the Bills, Lions, Commanders and Packers. Kyler Murray and company notched a closely-contested victory over the San Francisco 49ers in Week 5.
