Carl Radke's Mom Sharon Slams Lindsay Hubbard: "She Was Mean..."

Carl Radke's mom, Sharon Radke, is "not quite" ready to forgive and forget with Lindsay Hubbard on Summer House Season 9.

Though Summer House’s Carl Radke ended his engagement to Lindsay Hubbard in September 2023, his mom, Sharon, is still processing their split.

As seen in Summer House Season 9, Episode 8, Carl's mom, along with his stepdad, Lou, trekked to New Jersey to attend his Soft Bar friends and family event. While there, Sharon took the opportunity to catch up with Jesse Solomon and West Wilson.

"It was just such a crap year since the breakup and all that," she confessed, before adding, "And she was mean to me, too" — referring, of course, to Lindsay.

Remarking that the situation was "tough," West asked Carl's mom if she felt she had "been able to fully let go [and] forgive" Lindsay. Her response? "Eh, not quite."

When he insisted that she'd "get there" eventually, Sharon replied, "I'm working on it."

Meanwhile, Jesse pointed out that Carl and Lindsay had "been able to sit at the same table and get along a little bit" in the Hamptons, something West said was "surprisingly nice."

Sharon gave the credit to her son, though, responding, "He's taken the high road the whole time."

Carl Radke's parents questioned relationship with Lindsay Hubbard

ICYMI, Carl’s parents were skeptical about his and Lindsay’s relationship to begin with. During a previous visit with Sharon and Lou prior to their breakup in Season 8, Carl's stepfather, for one, questioned their longevity as a couple.

"It's much harder and so much more painful to end a marriage than to get it right before you get married," Lou, an ordained minister, advised, adding that he was unsure if he would even "in good conscience" be able to officiate their wedding, if asked.

During a Season 8 Summer House After Show episode, Carl revealed that Lou had no regrets about the frank conversation, insisting that he and Sharon both "love and . . . care about" Lindsay and simply wanted the best for both of them.

What Lindsay Hubbard said about Carl Radke's parents

In her own separate After Show interview at the time, Lindsay reacted to Carl's conversation with his parents, wondering if she was "insane."

"I'm like, what weird, f--ked up, flying universe world are we living in?" she said. "If I am completely honest with you, my parents would absolutely never diss or talk badly about my future husband. My parents would never do that because this is my decision and who I'm picking to be my partner."

What’s more, she said, Sharon never mentioned any concerns to her face — even when she gave her the opportunity.

"I asked her at my bridal shower [and] she was like, 'No, no, no, everyone fights, everyone has things,'" Lindsay recalled. "I was like, 'Well if there's anything I can do to ease your mind, let me know.' And she was all good and then all weekend long she was like, 'I'm so excited for Lindsay to be my daughter-in-law!' Like, 'I love her so much.' And she just had nothing but nice things to say to me. And then when everything happened, she never even reached out. Nothing."
