Summer House's Carl Radke sounded off on Lindsay Hubbard's "freedom dinner" on the anniversary of their breakup.
Although tension has been simmering between Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke throughout Season 9 of Summer House as the exes navigate living together, the two finally addressed the giant elephant in the room during Episode 14, which took place exactly one year after their split. The heated conversation began after Carl wasn't thrilled with how Lindsay chose to commemorate the breakup.
“I would like to acknowledge that this is probably the most impactful day of my life, that changed the course of the rest of my life, forever,” Lindsay told Lexi Wood and Gabby Prescod as they drove to the Hamptons on August 30: the anniversary of her breakup with Carl.
Lindsay first marked the date by posting on her Instagram just before the crew arrived at the house together.
“What a difference a year makes," she wrote, along with a series of photos that included her bridal shower and bachelorette party. "One year later, I can honestly say I am happier than I have ever been because I focused on my own goals, success and happiness."
“When I think back to this day last year, it was one of the most difficult, humiliating & traumatic events of my adult life...I am proud of just how much I accomplished in this last year,” Lindsay continued in the post, adding a timeline of events in the last year, that included BravoCon, closing on Hubb House in Nashville, and finding out she was pregnant with her daughter, Gemma.

The post was read by all of the roommates, including Carl.
“If that’s what she’s gotta do to put her story out there? I’m sorry but when you put something out in that detail, it’s screaming something else inside of you very deep and dark in your body that is having a hard time with the reality of what actually f—king happened,” he said before Lindsay arrived.
Later, Amanda Batula joked with Lindsay about the post, declaring, “I saw your post. I’m sorry, I read your book. I thought we were done with timelines, Lindsay."
