Summer House's Carl Radke is calling out Lindsay Hubbard over claims she made about his mom, Sharon.
After Lindsay Hubbard accused ex-fiancé Carl Radke of being a "liar" on Summer House Season 9, he pointed the finger right back at her for the same reason.
During Jesse Solomon's Shabbat dinner in Episode 9, Lindsay confronted her ex about allegedly cheating on her with his friend, Lil, months before their engagement ended in September 2023. Afterward, Kyle Cooke checked in to see how Carl was doing "after that outburst from Lindsay," as he put it.
"I mean, honestly, it's confusing beyond belief because she clearly hasn't healed," Carl replied, before referencing Lindsay's drama with his mom, Sharon. "You've lied many times about my mother in the media, saying she didn't reach out to you [after the breakup]. She f–king texted you. You really wanna go there? She's obsessed with me. Clearly."
What happened between Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke's mom, Sharon?
As seen in Episode 8, Carl's mom claimed to Jesse and West Wilson that Lindsay "was mean to" her, and, as such, she was "not quite" ready to forgive her son's ex, though she was "working on it."
Though Sharon did not elaborate on exactly how Lindsay was mean, during a Season 8 Summer House After Show episode, Lindsay explained she took issue with Carl’s mom and stepfather expressing doubts about their relationship pre-split.
"I'm like, what weird f–ked up flying universe world are we living in?" Lindsay vented. "If I am completely honest with you, my parents would absolutely never diss or talk badly about my future husband. My parents would never do that because this is my decision and who I'm picking to be my partner."
Following the breakup, Lindsay claimed that Carl's mom and stepdad, Lou, never called or texted her — despite Sharon having "nothing but nice things to say" at her bridal shower. "When everything happened, she never even reached out. Nothing," Lindsay added on the After Show.
Carl Radke reveals if he cheated on Lindsay Hubbard with Lil
Though Lindsay did not have the opportunity to defend herself from Carl's claims about her post-breakup communication with his mom, she'd insisted earlier during their heated Shabbat dinner confrontation that she is "not a liar."
However, Lindsay alleged that Carl, on the other hand, had been "proven to be a liar," demanding he produce receipts about when he started talking to Lil in order to clear his name.
"You go around acting like a victim, like you haven't been on any dates and haven't hooked up with anybody," she fumed, referencing his self-professed year-long celibacy. "You've been talking to this girl since before we broke up."
As Carl shot back, "No, I have not. That's not accurate. You're coming at me when I could very easily write a list of things you've lied about and said. I'm not here to do that. I've moved on."
After some further goading, however, Carl eventually retrieved his phone and produced receipts that confirmed his timeline: He met Lil's parents at a pro soccer game in August, but she didn't slide into his DMs until October 2023 — a month after he called off his and Lindsay's wedding. In a shocking turn of events, Lindsay thanked him and accepted the evidence to put the speculation to rest.
Is Carl Radke still dating Lil?
Though they had verifiably been in communication since the previous fall — and she attended multiple Hamptons parties that summer — Carl and Lil had their first official date in New York City, just days prior to the aforementioned Lindsay showdown.
"Some of her personality's a little zany, and it's a little much," he told the guys of Lil, who gifted him a lemon as a "metaphor" for how he "always [makes] lemonade" out of bad situations. "I just think [being] friends with her for now is better."
As Carl further shared during Shabbat dinner, "I realized that I’m gonna keep dating... other people."
