The Carolina Hurricanes' 2024 prospect development camp begins today with a plethora of Canes draft picks in attendance.

Participating this year will be:

The camp will run for five days, starting today with fitness testing.

The first session open to the public will be at 12:30 p.m. at Invisalign Arena at the Wake Competition Center as the prospects will take the ice for various skating and athletics tests.

The rest of the days open to the public feature skill sessions, a team skate and a 3-on-3 game.

Here's how the schedule breaks down:

Monday (July 8)

9:30 a.m. - Fitness testing 
12:30 p.m. - On-ice testing (Open to Public)

Tuesday (July 9)

9 a.m. - Skills sessions (Open to Public)
2:30 p.m. - Off-ice workouts 

Wednesday (July 10)

9 a.m. - Team skate (Open to Public)
4 p.m. - Full-team 3-on-3 (Open to Public)

Thursday (July 11)

Off-ice workouts and educational sessions 

The coaching staff will be joined this year by Allie LaCombe in partnership with the NHL Coaches' Association Female Coaches Program.

LaCombe, 31, played seven years of professional and collegiate hockey and also coached at the Vancouver Canucks development camp last year.
