In early June, Carrie honored the 20th anniversary of Some Hearts, the album that went 9× Platinum and remains the best-selling debut country album of all time. She released a special vinyl edition and hosted a fan club celebration on SiriusXM, performing live at the Grand Ole Opry, where she was also honored with a custom crystal microphone during the Opry’s 100th anniversary celebration.

Earlier this year, Carrie wrapped up her successful Reflection residency at Resorts World Theatre in Las Vegas after a six-show run that extended into April 2025. On her final night, she reunited with Noel Miller—a Make-A-Wish child she met 17 years ago—and donated over $236,000 to the foundation from ticket proceeds.

In May, Carrie made headlines by performing “America the Beautiful” a cappella at Donald Trump’s second presidential inauguration, despite a technical malfunction. While the performance sparked debate, Carrie later said her goal was to "connect and unify."

She’s also serving as one of the three judges on American Idol Season 23, alongside Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie. Although her debut on the panel was met with mixed reviews, producers say she’s grown into the role and would be welcomed back for Season 24—though Carrie hasn’t confirmed if she’ll return.

In addition to her TV duties, Carrie continues touring the U.S., with upcoming appearances at major festivals like the Voices of America Country Music Fest in August and a solo concert in Highland, California this Septembe
