CASTING SHOCKER: Meet RHOBH’s Christine Blackman — The Bold New Face Shaking Up Season 15

The diamonds are being polished, the glam squads are booked, and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is officially back in production with a brand-new face in the mix: Christine Blackman. Bravo hasn’t confirmed her full status yet or whether she’s holding a diamond or just circling the drama as a “friend of.’ Christine is already making waves as the latest woman to enter the 90210 social scene.

And let’s be honest, joining RHOBH in 2025 is no small feat. With OGs realizing they are over filming, alliances shifting faster than Dorit Kemsley can change an outfit, and fans craving fresh energy post-Erika Jayne redemption arc, all eyes are on Christine to see what she brings to the table. So, who is this possible newbie, and how does she know the other cast members, and why is she already being called one to watch? We’ve got your cheat sheet ready, so let’s dive in.

Who is the new member of the RHOBH cast, Christine Blackman?

Christine is stepping into the RHOBH orbit with a polished résumé and an enviable lifestyle that is ready for reality TV. From what we’ve gathered so far, she’s a Beverly Hills-based show runner, philanthropist, and socialite who’s been floating in the same circles as the housewives for years. But she has mostly stayed off-camera until now. Christine is reportedly married to Hollywood director Steve Blackman. He actually created The Umbrella Academy on Netflix.

On her Instagram, the mother of two shared that she also worked on other popular series, including Fargo, Legion, and Altered Carbon. Her social media lists her as a “mom, wife, womb whisperer, advocate, shoe aficionado, animal lover, and voyager.” She’s known for attending high-end galas and being a fixture on the red carpet. Translation: she’s got the money, the connections, and the wardrobe to fit right in with this glittery squad. It will be interesting to see if Christine inserts herself into the drama. She looks like a laid-back surfer girl who might want to keep her distance. And if her recent social media glow-up is any indication, she knows she’s about to be on TV.

How does she know the other housewives?

According to The U.S. Sun, “Producers haven’t decided yet if she will be full-time or a friend of, they’re playing it by ear based on how filming goes. But so far, so good. She’s a great addition, and Kyle is so happy to have a confidant by her side.” Being friends with Kyle Richards must have its perks. After a rough Season 14, the OG will need all the allies she can find to rally around her. If Christine is a good friend, Kyle will be sure to swoop in and recruit her. The duo has been close buddies since their teenage years and still celebrate major milestones. On a recent shout-out post, Christine wrote, “Happy Birthday to you, [Kyle Richards]!!! Thank you for being the greatest friend/confidante/teacher/stylist/cheerleader/ neighbor a girl could ask for. May this be the best year yet!!!”

Christine also celebrated Christmas this year with Kyle, Teddi Mellencamp, and the morally corrupt Faye Resnick. And even though Christine has yet to be confirmed, she has already been spotted on the RHOBH cast trip. Along with Erika, Kyle, Jennifer Tilly and Sutton Stracke, the possible newbie was snapped in Sedona, Arizona, while the entire group took part in a Pink Jeep tour.

Fresh faces on RHOBH is always good

Christine is stepping into a reality TV ecosystem that eats newbies alive. But from what we’ve seen so far, she might just be ready for it. With her high-society connections, camera-ready lifestyle, and built-in friendships with current cast members, she’s got the foundation Bravo loves. Will she bring the glam and drama or will she clash with Sutton over couture or bond with Kyle over tequila? Will she survive the group trip without crying in glam? Only time will tell. But one thing’s for sure: The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills just got a little more interesting.
