CBS is doing something never done in 50 years for Josh Allen’s Buffalo Bills against Patrick Mahomes’ Kansas City Chiefs

Josh Allen’s quietly had an impressive season, but his next game will likely put it to the test, for better or worse.

Josh Allen is heading for what could be the biggest regular season game of his young career. Heading into the season, seemingly no one expected the Bills to be the class of the AFC East, but here we are.

Josh Allen has turned doubting critics on their heads, throwing for 17 touchdowns and four interceptions with seemingly no one around to hold his hand in the wide receiver room. The Buffalo Bills are in first place in the AFC East and unless they lose out, they are a lock to coast into the playoffs with a home game under wraps.

However, one game this weekend could give them the ability to leapfrog to home-field advantage throughout the NFL playoffs in January. With tough teams like the Pittsburgh Steelers, Baltimore Ravens, and others lying in wait, home-field advantage could be crucial. CBS is well aware of this.

Josh Allen’s next game could be one for the ages

Speaking on a November 15 edition of “Pro Football Talk,” NFL analyst Mike Florio noted steps CBS was taking to pull out every stop for the upcoming Josh Allen vs Patrick Mahomes showdown this weekend.

He explains: “The chase for the number one seed happens in Orchard Park, New York. … The only game CBS will have on [that afternoon].

“They know not to even bother with an alternate broadcast for any other part of the country.

“It’s 100 per cent of the country. Chiefs-Bills, Chiefs are 9-0 bills are 8-2.

“It’s such a big deal that the NFL today, the broadcast, the pregame show from CBS, is going on the road for the first time ever in its 50-plus year history for a regular season game.”

So, yeah, the game is a big deal. One can only hope the showdown is filled with fireworks and doesn’t resemble any number of blowouts or one-note games the league has featured in primetime this year.

Josh Allen vs Patrick Mahomes kickoff schedule

Of course, to watch the game, one must know when it takes place.

Fans can watch the showdown on their antennas or on cable anywhere in the country on Sunday, November 18 at 4:25 PM EST, 1:25 PM PST.

Most sports bars also will be playing the game at this time, for those who are traveling or lack access to a television. Put simply, if one turns on a television Sunday afternoon, they should be able to watch the game. With so many eyes glued to the screen, will Josh Allen get his revenge?
