Chris Kreider is excited to play against Mika Zibanejad at the 4 Nations Face-Off.
Longtime teammates and linemates with the New York Rangers are set to play against each other at the 4 Nations Face-Off.
Chris Kreider and Mika Zibanejad are inseparable as friends, but for this upcoming tournament, they will be opponents.
These two veteran forwards know each other’s game more than anybody, which makes their individual matchup interesting.
“I think [Mika Zibanejad] knows all of my tricks,” Kreider said, via Mollie Walker of The New York Post. “Unfortunately, his bag of tricks is a lot deeper than mine. Not sure how often I’m going to be on the ice against him, he’s kind of on whole other level.”
They have been teammates in New York since 2016 as Kreider and Zibanejad’s bond continues to grow stronger.
Kreider will be playing for Team USA at the 4 Nations Face-Off while Zibanejad is set to represent his home country of Sweden.
