Chris Olave gives New Orleans Saints fans the news that they've been wanting for months

The New Orleans Saints dealt with plenty of bad news during last season. 2024 brought injuries to Derek Carr, Alvin Kamara, Taysom Hill, and others. They were bad enough to earn a top ten pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Wide receiver Chris Olave was at the center of some emotional news as well.

He suffered another concussion and was forced to miss a lot of time. Since he's suffered multiple concussions between his time in college and the pros, it has become a bit of a long-term concern, simply due to his overall health. Specifically, Olave has suffered four concussions in the past three years.

Concussions are a part of the game, but avoiding them at all costs is the hope for every player. Olave shared a fantastic update on his health recently, though.

Chris Olave update

Olave says that he's 100% now. He began practicing in the final two weeks of the season but did not return to playing in those final games. The team wanted to be as careful as possible with him, and that made the most sense.

"Like I said, I don't really have symptoms with the concussion. I feel good. I'm making sure that I'm building my body stronger and I'm just trying to get right."

-- Olave

The young wideout is focused on developing this offseason to help the Saints next season. He's ready to move forward in his NFL career, and he will have plenty of opportunity to make an impact for New Orleans next season.

The Saints have a major choice to make this offseason regarding Olave. They must choose whether or not to pick up his fifth-year option for his rookie contract.
