Ciara Reveals the Surprising Reason Carl Radke Texted Her "Don't Be Mad

Summer House's Ciara Miller also opened up about where she stands with Carl Radke today.

Ciara Miller's friendship with Carl Radke is about to take a turn on Summer House Season 9 as he gets ready to confess his feelings, but it turns out that the two are on great terms today.

Back in February, Ciara even shared that Carl was the last Bravolebrity she had texted.

"He texted me about mayonnaise," The Traitors alum exclusively said to The Daily Dish.

As Ciara explained, Carl was about to do an ad for a mayonnaise company, but not the one that she prefers. 

"So he’s like, 'Please don't be mad at me,'" she recounted. "Like, oh my god I don't care..."

Ciara also saw a new side to the Soft Bar + Café founder in the Hamptons last summer. 

"I would say it was really nice getting to know a different side of him. And he’s been very preoccupied in previous seasons," Ciara told The Daily Dish. "So I feel like we got a less tense version of him, almost. I feel like he’s just a different version of himself, and he was fun."

"I feel like we kind of had to let him know that we love him the way that he is. He can relax, and he’s supposed to be in this house. He doesn’t have to take himself too seriously. We’re like dude, chill, let your guard down. You don’t need to be the most perfect version of yourself; it’s all good," she continued. "It was really nice to just kind of watch him loosen up over the summer, let his guard down, and kind of just have fun, be out. And kind of be on his own."

How Ciara Miller reacted when Carl Radke shared his feelings for her

Ciara and Carl are in a great place today, but things could have gotten very awkward between them when the former Loverboy VP of Sales poured out his heart for her at the Snoozefest party. 

In a preview for Season 9, Episode 12, which you can check out at the top of this post, Carl tells Ciara that he has a crush on her.

"I mean, you're f-----g beautiful," he says. "You're an incredible person. I felt like I should just let you know I kind of have a crush on you. I mean, when you walk in the room, I'm like, 'Oh my God.' You're absolutely drop dead gorgeous. But, you also inside are incredibly emotionally intelligent, you're obviously very smart, and you care about sh-t that matters, right? And the fact that you are a nurse I think speaks so much more about who you really are deep down. I've always thought you are an amazing person, but I've always felt like I don't have any shot in hell."

Ciara responds by saying that it's too complicated for them to consider taking things to the next level because of his past engagement to Lindsay Hubbard. 

"I think what's meant to be will be, but I feel like me and Lindsay have so much history, and this is the best we've gotten along," she responds. "I just can't be stepping on people's toes... I almost need to meet a stranger. I need to meet a complete stranger to the world."
